Miami, Nov. 9 -- Lionel Messi and Tadeo Allende scored two goals each as Inter Miami advanced to the MLS Eastern Conference semifinals with a 4-0 home win over Nashville in the decisive game of their playoff series.

The Argentine World Cup winner put the hosts ahead in the 10th minute when he embarked on a 20-yard dribble before firing in from the edge of the penalty area.

Messi doubled the lead by side-footing home from 18 yards after Mateo Silvetti's layoff.

The hosts made it 3-0 through Allende, who drilled a first-time effort past goalkeeper Joe Willis after Jordi Alba's cut-back.
