Moscow, July 4 -- German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will hold talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on July 9 to discuss security in the Euro-Atlantic region and the challenges that NATO faces, German government spokesperson Stefan Kornelius said on Friday.
"Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz will receive NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in his office on July 9 ... During the talks they will pay attention to the issues of security in the Euro-Atlantic region and to the current challenges that NATO is facing," Kornelius said in a statement.
