Shillong, Aug. 12 -- The Meghalaya government on Wednesday launched the Statewide Intensified IEC campaign 3.0, to scale up HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention strategies, diagnostic testing, and medical treatment across the state.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Wailadmiki Shylla called for a stronger fight against stigma and discrimination while launching an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign at Lady Keane College Hall.
The programme was organised by the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society (MACS) as part of an HIV/AIDS awareness programme coinciding with International Youth Day.
