Shillong, April 28 -- The Meghalaya government has constituted an enquiry committee to investigate over the alleged denial of admission of a child with suspected rabies symptoms at Tura Civil Hospital in West Garo Hills district.

The 11-year-old child died on the way back to her Azigre village in Dadenggre Civil Sub-Division after she was reportedly turned away from Tura Civil Hospital and another private institution on April 24 night after both the instructions claimed to have no vacant beds.
