Shillong, May 14 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today launched Skillerate 2026, unveiling four major initiatives aimed at strengthening the state's skill development ecosystem and expanding employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for about 21,000 trainees.
The four flagship initiatives include PROPEL, MEGASKILL, SHIELD and EQUIP.
PROPEL will support trained youth after training through startup toolkits, mobility support, salary augmentation, marketing assistance and industry linkages.
