Shillong, Feb. 26 -- Meghalaya Power Minister Metbah Lyngdoh informed the Assembly on Thursday that the implementation of the Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP) is 32 per cent complete and on track for completion by 2028, aiming to boost dam safety and performance in the state.
"Meghalaya is one of the 18 states included under DRIP Phase-II and Phase-III with a financial outlay of Rs. 441 Crores allotted to MePGCL," Lyngdoh said while replying to a cut motion moved by Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit of the opposition Voice of the People Party.
