Shillong, April 1 -- Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Wednesday presented the Meghalaya IT Awards 2026 to meritorious students for the academic year 2025 at the U Soso Tham auditorium here.
The awards ceremony, organised by the Information Technology & Communications Department of the Meghalaya government, was attended by Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui, along with other officials.
Altogether, 203 meritorious students from Classes 10 and 12 were honoured for their performance in the board examinations of the previous academic year.
Of these, 131 students are from the MBOSE board, 51 from CBSE, and 21 from ICSE. Two specially-abled students are among the awardees.
