Shillong, March 19 -- The opposition Congress MP from Tura, Saleng A. Sangma has sought urgent intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to tackle threats issued by illegal Rohingya immigrants to the indigenous Garo people to vacate the Garo Hills in Meghalaya"These developments have led to increasing tension and clashes between local tribal communities and illegal Rohingyas groups," Sangma wrote.
