Jalgaon, Nov. 5 -- An important review meeting was held today to provide relief to banana farmers in Jalgaon district and increase export capacity.
State Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Gulabrao Patil, Minister of Marketing and Protocol Department Jayakumar Rawal were present in this meeting. The meeting discussed in detail the pending issues related to getting banana crop insurance as well as the necessary measures to increase the capacity and number of banana export facilitation centers.
Raver MLA Amol Haribhau Javale and agricultural officers and officials of the concerned departments were present on this occasion.
