Nahan, Sept. 12 -- A case of sexual harassment has been reported at Dr YS Parmar Government Medical College, Nahan, where a security guard has been accused of harassing a group of female intern doctors.
The matter surfaced when an intern doctor shared her ordeal with colleagues, prompting 18 others to come forward with similar allegations. As many as 19 intern doctors submitted a written complaint to the medical college administration, alleging that the security guard had been harassing them for a long time.
Taking note of the seriousness of the allegations, the college management immediately forwarded the complaint to the Gunnu Ghat police post. Police have since recorded statements of all 19 complainants.
