Mathura, Aug. 19 -- Mediation efforts underway in the Mathura court regarding the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Eidgah Mosque dispute failed once again, on Tuesday.

Following the Supreme Court's directive, a third attempt at conciliation was scheduled for Tuesday in the special Lok Adalat of Additional District and Sessions Judge Anil Kumar Yadav (II).

However, due to the Muslim side's absence, the court dismissed the conciliation file.

The Hindu side has strongly objected to this attitude of the Muslim side.

The petitioners allege that the Muslim side is deliberately trying to prolong the case.
