Chennai, June 17 -- Amid changing dynamics of Tamil Nadu in the aftermath of the election results and realignment of political forces, MDMK General Secretary Vaiko, whose party was an ally of the Opposition DMK, met ruling TVK Founder and Chief Minister Vijay on Wednesday afternoon, fuelling speculations of an alliance between the two parties.

The surprise meeting, the second after Vijay had visited him at his residence as part of his meeting various party leaders, was held at the State Secretariat and was held in the backdrop of reports that senior TVK Leader and Minister Aadhav Arjuna met Mr Vaiko last night.
