Bhubaneswar, Sept. 24 -- Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) will strengthen the skill development ecosystem in Odisha by providing industry-oriented training to 520 candidates, with a special focus on youth, particularly women, from its operational and aspirational districts.
MCL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Bhubaneswar, to impart skill development training to the candidates under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The programme, with a total outlay of Rs 3.52 crore, will provide specialised training in two trades-Plastics Processing and Injection Moulding.
