Darwin, Aug. 17 -- The mob dusting off pitchforks demanding regeneration of an ageingTest team after Australia's shock defeat to Bangladesh may be sorely disappointed barring an unforeseen pivot from George Bailey, Andrew McDonald and co.
With six days to regroup before his side faces Bangladesh again, McDonald did not dodge the obvious in the aftermath of the most unexpected result of his four-year tenure and maybe in the nearly 150-year history of Test cricket.
"We were poor this Test match," Australia's head coach said in Darwin. "Any time you score (fewer than) 500 runs over two innings on that surface, we've got to make some improvements.
