New Delhi, Nov. 30 -- Voters from all age groups could be seen stepping out to exercise their voting right in the by-elections across 12 wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). Up to 3.30 pm the voter turnout was 31.13 per cent, as per the State Election Commission.
Polling is progressing peacefully, with no untoward incident reported so far. The SEC said that smooth and efficient polling is in progress at all the polling stations.
Giving the voting breakup of some of the wards, till 3.30 pm, the State Election Commission said: Shalimar Bagh - B recorded 28.28 per cent; Chandni Chowk - 27.91 per cent; Greater Kailash - 20.87 per cent.
