Pune, March 8 -- Pune Mayor Manjusha Deepak Nagpure on Saturday emphasised the importance of women taking care of their own health to build a stronger society while speaking at the launch of "Sanjivani Giving Her a Better Life", an initiative by Symbiosis.
The programme was organised at the auditorium of Symbiosis International University campus at Lavale in Pune on the occasion of International Women's Day.
The event was presided over by Symbiosis founder and president Dr S B Mujumdar.
Among those present were Mrs Sanjivani S Mujumdar, director of Symbiosis Society's Dr Ambedkar Museum and Memorial, principal director Dr Vidya Yeravdekar and provost of Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Dr Rajiv Yeravdekar.
