Lucknow, May 24 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Sunday warned party workers and leaders against any laxity or negligence in preparations for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2027, urging them to intensify grassroots mobilisation and organisational discipline.
Reiterating a strict organisational line, she said every "ploy and conspiracy" of political opponents must be countered with the same seriousness as before the 2007 Assembly elections. She also emphasised careful selection of candidates and strong protection of votes and organisational integrity.
