Los Angeles, May 7 -- Actor Matthew Lillard has officially joined the cast of "Man of Tomorrow", the upcoming sequel to "Superman", being developed under DC Studios.
The project is being directed, written and produced by James Gunn, with David Corenswet reprising his role as Superman, reports DEADLINE.
Lillard joins an ensemble that includes Nicholas Hoult playing Lex Luthor, Lars Eidinger as Brainiac, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathon Fillion as Guy Gardner and Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific. Adria Arjona is also on board to play Maxima and Aaron Pierre is also in the picture.
The film, currently in production, is set to bow on July 9, 2027....
