Mumbai, May 26 -- A massive fire broke out in a cloth store at Sun Mill Compound on Sitaram Jadhav Marg in Lower Parel area of south Mumbai on Tuesday that destroyed stacks of cloth worth lakhs of rupees. However, no one was injured.
According to the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) officials, the fire broke out at 7.42 am and it was confined to stacks of cloth and other materials kept on the first floor of a ground-plus-one-storey structure within the compound.
It was declared Level-I fire at 7.55 am.
