Bengaluru, May 30 -- A major fire broke out at a school building in western Bengaluru on Saturday morning, triggering a swift response from the fire and emergency services.
No casualties or injuries were reported as the institution was closed for summer holidays at the time of the incident.
According to police, the blaze erupted at the auditorium on the top floor of Chitrakoota School in Nagadevanahalli, preventing any risk to students or staff who would normally be present during academic hours.
Fire department officials said an emergency alert was received at around 9.55 am. Following the call, three fire tenders were immediately rushed to the spot.
