Ranchi, March 6 -- The Government of Jharkhand has intensified efforts to eliminate Lymphatic Filariasis through a renewed phase of the Mass Drug Administration campaign.

Under the programme, the drive is being implemented in 14 districts of the state, including Ranchi, Gumla, Deoghar, Ramgarh, East Singhbhum, Koderma, Giridih, Pakur, Sahibganj, Godda, Lohardaga, Bokaro, Dhanbad, and Hazaribagh.

The current phase of the campaign began on February 10, 2026, with a target of administering preventive medicine to nearly 15 million people.
