Beirut, March 30 -- As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directed the military to further expand invasions of southern Lebanon, UNICEF warned that the rapidly escalating conflict in Lebanon has triggered a massive humanitarian crisis, displacing nearly 20 percent of the country's population in just three weeks.
Among those affected are more than 370,000 children, with an average of 19,000 forced to flee their homes each day.
"I have just instructed to further expand the existing security buffer zone.
