Ranchi, Dec. 12 -- Jharkhand BJP president Babulal Marandi on Thursday demanded a CBI probe into an alleged illegal mining network reportedly operated at the behest of a person referred to as "Baba."Marandi launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accusing him of turning a blind eye to illegal mining while misrepresenting the state's financial health.
Claiming that Jharkhand would never face a fund shortage if its natural resources were properly managed, Marandi said the Chief Minister continues to assert,both in the Assembly and to the media, that the Centre is withholding funds meant for Jharkhand.
