Ranchi, July 24 -- Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi on Friday wrote to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, seeking the removal of Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) member Jamal Ahmad and an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) probe into his alleged disproportionate assets.

In the letter, Marandi alleged that Ahmad had amassed movable and immovable assets disproportionate to his known sources of income by misusing his position. He sought an investigation into the JPSC member's properties, bank accounts, investments and other alleged sources of income.
