Ranchi, June 4 -- Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi on Thursday questioned the Jharkhand Government over reports that government medicines were found dumped in a forested area in Latehar district and demanded action against those responsible.
In a statement, Marandi referred to a video circulating on social media purportedly showing medicines discarded in a forest area between Manika police station and the Dumuhan river in Latehar district.
He alleged that the incident raised serious questions about the state's healthcare system and sought an inquiry into how government-supplied medicines reached the location.
