Ranchi, April 27 -- Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi on Monday raised concerns over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations in Jharkhand and sought removal of the JPSC chairman. Marandi said the condition of competitive examinations in the state was deteriorating and recent lapses in the Jharkhand eligibility test had raised questions over the credibility of the process.
He said question papers did not reach one examination centre each in Bokaro and Ranchi, leading to cancellation of the test at those centres. He added that errors such as repetition of a question from the same passage in the English paper and missing options in another question reflected lack of seriousness in conducting the examination.
