Ranchi, Jan. 22 -- Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi on Thursday levelled fresh allegations over the alleged liquor scam in the state, claiming that while the scam amount continues to rise, the scope of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) investigation has not expanded accordingly.
In a post on social media, Marandi wrote that the investigation into the Jharkhand liquor scam itself has become a major scam.
He alleged that although the amount involved in the scam is increasing, the ACB has failed to widen the ambit of its probe.
He pointed out that so far 17 accused have been arrested in connection with the case, but no chargesheet has been filed against any of them.
