Mumbai, June 6 -- With "Governor" gearing up for its theatrical release, actor Manoj Bajpayee has taken a walk down memory lane by visiting the McDonald's outlet in Delhi's Vasant Vihar, widely recognised as one of the first outlets of the global fast-food chain to open in India during the post-liberalisation era.
It's being reported that the idea of visiting this historic site was Bajpayee's own. In the film, he plays the role of an RBI governor trying to steer the country through the challenging times of the 1991 economic crisis. Therefore, he expressed a desire to experience this important site, which has become a hallmark of post-liberalisation India, up close.
