Panchkula, June 28 -- union Minister for Power and Housing & Urban Affairs Manohar Lal on Saturday paid rich tributes to former Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dr Mangal Sen, describing him as a towering organisation builder who helped shape the Bharatiya Janata Party's ideological and organisational foundations through his lifelong commitment to public service and cadre-based politics.
The union Minister was addressing a gathering after unveiling the reinstalled statue of Dr Mangal Sen at the Dr Mangal Sen Auditorium complex in Karnal.
He also offered floral tributes to the veteran leader in the presence of public representatives, senior officials and prominent citizens, stated a press release.
