Imphal, June 24 -- Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (MPYCC) President Wahengbam Anand was allegedly assaulted by MPCC General Secretary Ningthoujam Popilal today at Congress Bhawan on BT Road, Imphal.
Anand sustained injuries in the incident and is currently receiving treatment at Raj Medicity Hospital.
Anand said he doesn't want to give details of the incident as it is an internal matter of the Congress party.
He however named the General Secretary for alleged involvement in the assault.
