Tamenglong(Manipur), June 12 -- People living in the hill districts of Manipur have no means of reaching the state capital Imphal due to the ongoing conflict between different communities. Most tribal populace belonging to the Naga community can't travel on the roads where ever there are Kuki villages.
The Joint Tribes' Council Manipur (JTCM), representing the Inpui, Liangmai, Rongmei and Zeme communities, has appealed to the Manipur Government to immediately introduce helicopter services between Noney district and Imphal to address the growing humanitarian and economic crisis caused by disrupted road connectivity.
