Imphal, April 22 -- Manipur has reiterated its commitment to strengthening blood transfusion services and ensuring safe, accessible blood for all citizens, following its participation in a high-level national review convened by the union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The virtual review meeting, chaired by Dr. Rakesh Gupta, Additional Secretary (Public Health) and Director General of the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO) on Wednesday brought together officials from across the country to assess progress in blood transfusion systems and set priorities for the coming months.
