Imphal, July 15 -- Thiyam Akuvan, Founder of Akumen AI, an Imphal-based assistive technology and artificial intelligence startup developing affordable and accessible technology solutions for persons with visual impairments and other disabilities, called on the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
Akuvan, a computer science engineer from Manipur, briefed the Governor on the startup's work in leveraging artificial intelligence, computer vision and wearable technologies to develop indigenous, affordable assistive devices aimed at enhancing accessibility and independence for persons with disabilities.
