Imphal, July 10 -- Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, on Friday chaired the 3rd Meeting of the Rajya Sainik Board, Manipur (2026) at Lok Bhavan, Imphal.
The meeting reviewed a range of matters concerning the welfare, rehabilitation, and resettlement of ex-servicemen, war widows, and their dependents.
Discussions focused on strengthening the delivery of welfare measures and enhancing institutional support for the veteran community across the State.
Key agenda items included the construction of a new Sainik Rest House-cum-Office Complex, strengthening of manpower for improved outreach in the districts, and other initiatives aimed at strengthening the functioning of the Rajya Sainik Board.
