Imphal, June 22 -- Governor of Manipur Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Monday interacted with five sponsored internally displaced persons (IDP) students and their guardians at Lok Bhavan, Imphal.
The students have been sponsored for providing free education up to class 10 by Information Technology Institute for the Tribes of India-Doon Sanskriti School, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
The students, hailing from Moreh and Churachandpur and presently residing in different relief camps in Imphal, have been selected for their further studies free of cost including fooding, lodging, uniform and other essential facilities.
Their travel expenses from Imphal to Dehradun will be borne by the Assam Rifles.
