Imphal, June 15 -- : Deputy Chief Minister Losii Dikho, who also holds the portfolios of the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) and the Forest, Environment & Climate Change Department, today flagged off a fleet of vehicles for Solid Waste Management at the Autonomous District Council (ADC), Senapati. The procurement was funded under the 4th State Finance Commission (SFC) Grants.
The fleet - comprising six tippers and two dumpers - is dedicated to improving waste management operations across the district. The vehicles will service key sectors including the Senapati-Karong area, Tadubi and Makhre Padei area, Mao-Inu Choro area, and Purul and Oinam (Model Village) area.
