Imphal, Feb. 15 -- Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh visited Sainik School Imphal on Sunday, where he was welcomed by MLA L Susindro Meitei, Principal Col. A. Rajiv, and senior officials of the institution.
During the visit, Col. Rajiv briefed the Chief Minister on the school's functioning, highlighting key challenges such as deteriorating infrastructure, water supply issues, the need to strengthen the perimeter wall, pending construction of the girls' hostel, and sound clarity problems in the Vikram Batra Auditorium. He also showcased the school's recent achievements, including cadets' participation in national-level events and notable performances in competitive examinations.
