Imphal, Nov. 1 -- Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Sunday called upon all communities in Manipur to work together to build a peaceful society based on harmony, mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence.
Addressing the 35th Coral Jubilee celebration of Brahma Kumaris Manipur at the Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre (BOAT) in Imphal, the Chief Minister stressed the need for people from different communities to live together in peace and work collectively towards restoring harmony in the state.
Highlighting the organisation's contribution, Khemchand Singh said Brahma Kumaris began its activities in Manipur in 1992 and had continued its mission of selfless service with humility, dedication and sincerity.
