Imphal, June 19 -- Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Thursday called for unity among all communities in Manipur, asserting that a united state is the only way forward and that its identity and territorial integrity have been preserved through the collective sacrifices of all 36 communities.
The Chief Minister made these remarks during the inauguration-cum-reception programme of a newly constructed Girls' Hostel at the Mission Blind School, Laiching Heikakpokpi, in Tengnoupal district.
