Imphal, March 2 -- Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh flagged off five pick up vehicles of the Excise Department on Monday to significantly boost the field operations, improve enforcement activities, and ensure more effective monitoring of illegal liquor trade across the State.
The Chief Minister told mediapersons that this initiative will help in curbing illegal liquor activities and is an important step towards strengthening the operational capacity and mobility of the excise department.
