Imphal, April 6 -- The Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) organised a one-day awareness programme on "Crimes Against Women: Redressal Mechanisms" in Imphal West today, aimed at strengthening awareness on women's rights and legal protections.
Chairperson of MSCW, Thumlip Tiningpham Monsang, while addressing the gathering at the Mayanglangjing Taning Community Hall, stated that the programme was designed to empower women by encouraging them to stand up for their rights and live with dignity. She emphasised that women's rights are fundamental rights and that every woman is entitled to safety, dignity, and security.
