Thoubal, May 24 -- Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh today inspected various development projects in Heirok area of Thoubal district, including the proposed extension campus of Manipur Technical University (MTU).
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Heirok MLA Thokchom Radhesyham Singh, MTU Vice Chancellor Prof. W Chandbabu Singh and Commissioner (Education) Ningthoujam Geoffrey.
During the visit, the Chief Minister inspected the site earlier constructed for the proposed Heirok Engineering College under MTU, which has now been planned as an extension campus of the university.
