New Delhi, June 26 -- Star Indian table tennis player Manika Batra on Friday alleged that the Table Tennis Federation of India violated its own Constitution while constituting the selection committee for the 2026 Asian Games squad, questioning the transparency and legality of the process after being named only as a reserve.

The three-time Olympian, however, said she had decided to "put the sword down" despite being "mentally exhausted" by the prolonged battle, choosing instead to focus on the United States Smash in Los Angeles.
