Agartala, Jan. 20 -- The former Chief Minister and veteran CPI-M leader Manik Sarkar, emphasised criticise ruling BJP and it's alliance partner TIPRA Motha for growing discontent over recognition of Kokborok language in the Roman script.

He said in the midst of movement and engagement, other significant issues and difficulties faced by tribal communities are being overlooked.

The basic needs like food, nutrition, purified water, electricity, communication, and opportunity to work have been shrinking gradually over the years during the saffron rule, Sarkar alleged.
