Kolkata, July 23 -- The streets of Kolkata have become the setting for Mani Ratnam's latest cinematic venture as filming featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi got underway on Thursday.
The crew has reserved the historic Belgachia Rajbari located in the northern belt of the city for a two-day shooting schedule on July 23 and 24.
Ratnam had reached the city several days before the shoot to finalise preparations. During his stay, he also visited Technicians' Studio, where several members of the local film fraternity interacted with the director and later shared photographs with him on social media.
Sethupathi reached Kolkata on Wednesday night and was seen at the city airport ahead of the shooting schedule.
