Srinagar, April 25 -- union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya on Saturday outlined an ambitious 10-year roadmap to make India a global sporting powerhouse, as the Chintan Shivir of State and union Territory sports ministers got underway here with a focus on turning policy into on-ground action.
Speaking at the opening session, Mandaviya stressed that India's ambitions in sports can only be achieved when proper execution of the policies at the ground level is done"Our 10-year roadmap to becoming a global sporting powerhouse must not remain on paper, it must come alive in every playground, every district, and every young dream," Mandaviya said.
