London, Oct. 20 -- Manchester United won 2-1 away to Liverpool on Sunday to ease the pressure on coach Ruben Amorim, while raising more doubts about the balance in the Liverpool squad this season.

Bryan Mbuemo put United ahead in just the second minute, with the visitors then riding their luck as Cody Gakpo hit the post three times for Liverpool, before finally leveling with just over 12 minutes left to play.

Liverpool fans must have been expecting to finish the fightback, but it was Harry Maguire who gave Manchester United its first league win at Anfield since 2016 with a powerful header six minutes from time.

Villa came from behind to take its first away win of the season with a 2-1 triumph against Tottenham.
