Shimla, Feb. 2 -- Tourist resort Manali, received a light spell of snowfall, bringing back wintry cheer even as minimum temperatures dipped across the mid-hill regions of the state.
According to the latest weather bulletin issued by the Meteorological Centre, Shimla, Manali recorded about 2.5 cm of snowfall, while higher reaches in adjoining areas experienced a more pronounced winter spell.
Snowfall was reported mainly from higher and mid-hill stations, with Kothi recording the highest snowfall of 15.0 cm, followed by Kalpa (13.6 cm) and Sangla (10.5 cm).
