Muzaffarnagar, Oct. 24 -- A tragic domestic dispute in Muzaffarnagar's Bhopa area last morning resulted in the death of a young man and left his wife injured.
Police have taken the man's father into custody for allegedly opening fire on the victims during the quarrel.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sanjay Kumar, the incident occurred around 11 am in Mohalla Chowk. The accused, Brijveer Singh, who is engaged in farming, often had disagreements with his son Robin Singh and daughter-in-law Ravita over family matters.
Yesterday, an argument reportedly escalated, following which the man first shot his son dead and later also opened fire on his daughter-in-law, injuring her critically.
