Bokaro, April 27 -- A woman was killed allegedly by her husband with an axe in Bokaro district, police said on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Sonu Devi, a resident of Ramdi Tola under Pindrajora police station area in Bokaro.
Police said the incident occurred on Sunday morning following a domestic dispute between the couple. The accused, identified as Vikas Rajwar, has been arrested.
According to preliminary information, the couple had an argument on Saturday night reportedly over the woman insisting on visiting her parental home. The victim later went to sleep.
Police said the accused allegedly attacked his wife with an axe while she was asleep, leading to her death.
